About the Author
Yahiya Emerick is a prolific author on topics related to religion, interfaith dialogue and the Islamic faith. He has written over thirty books including The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Understanding Islam, as well as a modern English translation of the Qur’an. His recent biography on the life of Muhammad is considered the most accessible to the average reader in the market today. He has a BA in history and an MA in secondary education/history. One of a very few books on Dawah in the West

This book is a good starting point on the road to Dawah.
It's a treasure chest of information that Daee will find helpful when getting serious about Dawah. The Christian religion primer is top notch, and got me interested enough to search for other books on the topic.
Yahiya Emerick liberally powders the book with references on who to talk to, which organizations are active in which areas, and how to get in touch with them. The bibliography (Categorized) is excellent, as it lists books that a person can read if they want more in depth knowledge on a specific subject (ie. Dawah for Asian-Americans). The list of other Dawah books was very helpful also.
Some negative aspects of the book was the superficial "Caucasian" Muslims chapter. As well as the geneology of an immigrant family. Both seemed rather superficial.
I wouldn't let that get you down though. This book is a very useful Dawah tool. It is a great stepping stone into more serious study of Dawah and its specifics.

Must have book for anybody interested in spreading the good word.

Unbelievable compilation of work and research by author Yahiya Emerick, an Irish convert to the religion of Islam. Very easy to read, and the book is well organized and can be digested by even teenagers and young children. For anybody interested in spreading the message of Islam, this book gives the insight on how to propagate the one true religion of God with knowledge, wisdom, and fair preaching, as God invites us to do in the Glorious Qur'an. With so many people quick to criticize Islam in the world today due to the results of many misguided, so-called "Muslim" terrorists that promote their violence by justifying their evil actions in the name of Allah, this book will teach you to enlighten humanity on what Islam truly stands for, and that is peace, harmony, love, and truth. You'd be foolish to read this review and not purchase this book, it's a game-changer for the Muslim community. People who want this book should also check out Sheikh Ahmed Deedat and Dr. Zakir Naik who have authored books and have lectures available on YouTube, the two gentlemen being arguably the two best dawah doctors of the last few generations.
