This text focuses on earthquake safety - not of buildings themselves - but rather of equipment that is fastened to buildings. Instructor Herb LeKuch selected it as principal text in his seres of "Seismic Protection of Critical Equipment" short courses commencing in September at NTS, Acton, MA. A shortcoming: we wish for more pictures. Herb's PowerPoint slides will address the pictorial shortage.
